Use toolbar depending on the window, the toolbar may be missing some items when you click the minighost icon, a dialog box pops up, with the text: OK, pop quiz! "A Beatles song, XXXterday." Can you fill in the blanks? Yes No If you press yes, it says "That's correct. I'm impressed!" If you press no, it says Buzzzzt! "A Beatles song, Noterday." Wrong! (then, if the ROM isn't already possessed, do this:) I will now possess your ROM! Mwa ha ha! (then play possess.wav) Whenever you load up a possessed ROM, play the possess sound once it's loaded in. In the status bar, where it says something like: EarthBound ROM loaded - 292387 bytes append "- possessed ROM" to that if the ROM is possessed. To exorcise the ghost from the ROM, the user has to answer "Yes" to that question five times. (Yeah I know that's a bit of a programming pain, but not much.) If the ROM is possessed, on the fifth time you hit Yes, make it say "Okay, I'll leave your ROM now. Sorry for the trouble. Back to Threed I go!" (then play heal.wav) The black sesame seed icon in the toolbar will just say "Hi! Thanks for noticing me, just a lonely black sesame seed!" Maybe Help and About shouldn't be in the treeview? Dunno, it makes it sorta crowded. Look at newergui.gif at a sorta possible idea for the right frame, plus toolbar stuff, plus various other things. The alignment and spacing of stuff looks weird, but that's the general idea I want. Use spriteconv.h to convert outside sprite #s into codes usable by the GetSprite routine.
