For the longest time, this board has been known as the "PK Hack" forum despite the fact that the majority of its posters do not, in fact, use PK Hack. However, rather than change the board's name (after all, the verb 'PK Hack' has come to mean 'EarthBound hacking' on IRC), a new measure will be taken: the new name of AnyoneEB's JHack utility, as of the next version, will be PK Hack.

It may seem a bit pretentious to give this new tool the name of the classic utility; however, this suggestion was supported (or thought of originally perhaps, I forget) by Tomato himself. JHack provideds a ridiculously vast array of EarthBound hacking tools; as such, it is now considered the #1 mandatory tool for hacking EarthBound (optionally coupled with MrAccident's map editor). As such, JHack should be regarded as the standard hacking utility. Unless otherwise specified, it will be assumed that you are using JHack. And if you don't use JHack, you're missing out. Big time. Go download it. Now.

To restate; JHack is now PK Hack, and PK Hack is the standard.
